Airconditioner bewegingssensoren

Rayzeek air conditioner motion sensors help reduce wasted cooling in protected indoor rooms by linking split AC operation to occupancy, vacancy, and door or window status. Use them for hotel rooms, serviced apartments, offices, dormitories, classrooms, and rental spaces where air conditioning should not keep running when a room is empty or open to outside air.

Unoccupied indoor room with split AC for occupancy-aware energy saving

Occupancy-Aware AC Control for Empty Rooms

In many rooms, split AC energy is wasted after guests, staff, or occupants leave. Rayzeek AC motion sensor controllers learn infrared commands from the existing remote and use occupancy-based delay control to help the air conditioner respond automatically to real room use.

Choose basic ON/OFF automation for straightforward vacant-room control, or use a dual-power controller when the project needs flexible power and selectable control behavior.

Indoor split AC room with open balcony door causing cooling loss

Door and Window Protection for Cooling Loss

For rooms with balcony doors, windows, or entry doors that may be left open, use a door/window-compatible AC motion sensor kit. The controller can turn the air conditioner off when the room is vacant or when a monitored opening is left open, helping reduce cooling loss in hospitality and rental spaces.

Select a one-sensor or two-sensor kit based on how many openings need to be monitored, then add compatible expansion sensors where the room layout requires them.

What does an air conditioner motion sensor do?

An air conditioner motion sensor helps a split AC respond to room use instead of running only by manual remote control. Depending on the model and setup, it can turn the AC on and off by occupancy, turn it off after vacancy, or turn it off when a monitored door or window is left open.

Which AC motion sensor is best for occupancy-based control?

For straightforward occupancy-based AC automation, use the base controller. For projects that need battery or USB power options and selectable control behavior, use the dual-power controller. The right choice depends on whether the room needs full ON/OFF automation, OFF-only control, or flexible power for installation.

How can door/window sensors save air conditioning energy?

Door/window sensors detect when a monitored opening is left open and send that status to the compatible AC controller. The controller can then send an OFF command to the air conditioner, helping prevent cooling loss in rooms with balcony doors, windows, or other openings.

Can these controllers work with my existing split AC remote?

They are designed for split air conditioners that use infrared remote commands. The controller learns commands from the existing AC remote, so compatibility depends on the AC remote-control behavior and the commands available for the intended control mode.

Where should AC motion sensor controls be used?

They are best suited to protected indoor rooms such as hotel guest rooms, serviced apartments, offices, classrooms, dormitories, staff rooms, and rental spaces where split AC runtime should follow occupancy or opening status.

Do AC motion sensor kits need USB power?

Power depends on the model. The base controller uses batteries, the dual-power controller can use batteries or USB power, and door/window-compatible controller kits use USB power. Choose the appropriate regional USB adapter where the installation requires one.
