T8 fluorescent bulbs are known for their energy efficiency and longevity. They are often preferred over older T12 bulbs due to their improved performance. Are T8 Bulbs Being Discontinued
T5 and T8 fluorescent and compact fluorescent tubes are scheduled to be phased out. According to the European Commission’s ecodesign and RoHS directives, starting in 2023, these types of tubes will no longer be available.
