What is Center Beam Candlepower (CBCP)
Center Beam Candlepower (CBCP) is the luminous intensity at the center of the beam emitted by a lamp or luminaire. It is a metric used to measure the concentration of light in the central area of the beam. The point of maximum intensity in a symmetrical beam is typically located at the center. CBCP is often expressed in candelas (cd) and is considered an important measurement when aiming lighting in a specific direction.
