What is Lux

Lux is a standardized unit of measurement used to quantify the intensity of light level. It’s the unit of illuminance. It represents the amount of light that falls on a specific surface area. In simpler terms, lux is a measure of brightness. The more lumens there are in a square meter of a surface, the higher the lux levels will be, indicating a brighter illumination. Conversely, lower lux levels indicate a darker illumination.
