What is Enhancing Reflections
Enhancing reflections refers to the technique of improving the appearance and quality of reflections in photographs or visual displays. This process involves manipulating various factors, such as the angle of view, distance from the reflective surface, choice of lens, and lighting conditions, to achieve a desired effect.
To enhance reflections, photographers or designers experiment with different angles and distances to observe how the reflections react. When capturing images of reflective surfaces, such as water, they may choose a low angle close to the ground to capture the reflection effectively. Alternatively, if the subject being reflected is a tall building, standing close to the reflective surface might be sufficient.

When close to the reflection, using a wide-angle lens and including the reflection in the frame can help enhance the effect. On the other hand, when further away from the reflection, a telephoto lens is recommended. Additionally, focusing carefully is essential, as the reflection may be on a different plane than the surface of the reflective surface. Furthermore, brighter and more direct light sources can enhance the visibility and impact of reflections, while overcast days may result in weaker reflections.
