What is Bayonet
In the lighting industry, bayonet is a socket or cap used for light bulbs. It is named after the bayonet lock, a mechanism commonly found on rifles, as it shares a similar insertion and twist-locking mechanism. The bayonet cap, also known as BC or B22 cap, is widely used in the United Kingdom and other countries.
