What is Ceiling Cavity
Ceiling cavity is the space formed by the ceiling, the plane of the luminaires, and the wall surfaces between these two planes. It is the area above the lighting fixtures where wiring and other components may be housed. This concealed space allows for a clean and seamless appearance, as the fixtures are installed within the ceiling, leaving only their light output visible.
