However, it is important to note that IP65-rated lights are not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in water. On the other hand, the highest level of weather resistance mentioned is IP68. Lighting products with an IP68 rating are considered “waterproof” and can withstand permanent submersion in water up to a depth of 3 meters.
