Wireless Motion Sensors

Rayzeek wireless motion sensors help add motion-based lighting control where the sensor should be placed away from the controlled load. Choose hardwired receiver kits, plug receiver kits, wall-switch kits, or low-voltage controller kits based on the load type, installation method, and control behavior required.

Wireless Sensor Plus Receiver Control

A wireless motion sensor kit separates detection from load control. The battery-powered sensor detects movement and sends a signal to a receiver or controller that switches the connected light or device.

RZ039 uses a wireless PIR sensor and a hardwired receiver at the light fixture; it is not a plug kit or an in-wall switch.

Match the Receiver to the Load

Plug kits control plug-in devices, hardwired receiver kits control fixtures, in-wall switch kits replace wall-switch control, and low-voltage kits control DC lighting. The right wireless sensor depends on what is being switched.

Use RZ039 where a receiver can be wired at the fixture and the motion sensor needs flexible placement away from the switch box.

Plug-In Device Control

Use regional plug receiver kits where the controlled device plugs into an outlet and does not require fixture wiring.
