Wat is nanometer (nm)<\/h2>\n\n\n

Een nanometer (nm) is een lengtemaat in het metrische stelsel, gelijk aan een miljardste van een meter. Deze maat wordt veel gebruikt voor het meten van afmetingen op atomaire schaal en voor het specificeren van de golflengte van elektromagnetische straling, met name in het zichtbare deel van het spectrum. In de verlichtingsindustrie spelen nanometers een rol bij het bepalen van de specifieke golflengten van het licht dat door een lichtbron wordt uitgezonden, wat verschillende effecten kan hebben op de groei en ontwikkeling van planten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuinbouwteeltbedrijven kunnen het geschikte verlichtingssysteem voor hun gewassen selecteren. Verschillende golflengten van licht binnen het nanometerbereik hebben een uiteenlopende invloed op de fotosynthese en andere fysiologische processen in planten.
