It is a measure of how long a lamp can operate and provide light output before reaching the end of its usable life. Longer lamp life results in lower maintenance costs as there is no need for frequent replacement. This reduces the time, effort, and cost associated with physically replacing lamps, especially in areas where lamps are not easily accessible. It also eliminates the need for storing boxes of replacement lamps, resulting in cost savings in inventory management and storage. LED lamps, compared to other types of lamps, may be less easy to replace.
