It is a straightforward and widely used switch option. Unlike double-pole switches, which are more commonly found in industrial settings, single pole switches are typically found in residential and small-scale commercial applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A single pole light switch consists of two brass terminal screws and a toggle labeled with ON and OFF positions. These switches also typically include a grounding screw that connects to the circuit&#8217;s ground wire. The purpose of the switch is to control the flow of electricity to the connected light fixture or outlet.
