It is located at the bottom part of the bulb and is responsible for securing the bulb in place within a socket or fixture. The bulb base comes in various types and sizes, each designed for specific applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Common types of bulb bases include screw bases and pin bases. Screw bases, such as the Edison base, are widely used and come in different sizes denoted by descriptive names and numbers. These sizes indicate the diameter of the base in millimeters. On the other hand, pin bases, like the bi-pin base, consist of two pins that protrude from the base and are inserted into corresponding sockets.<\/p>\n<div
